What does accreditation mean to you?
Accreditation is an important factor to consider when choosing a university. Most major universities are regionally accredited, meaning that a private member association, such as the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), has independently evaluated an institution to determine if it is meeting standards in accordance with established criteria. If so, then the institution receives accreditation.
